What we collect
If you create an account, Clerk handles the account information and sign-in details you choose. Prmpter receives the account identifier and profile details needed to recognise your session.
When you are signed in, Prmpter stores saved prompt IDs, favorite and removal timestamps, customized prompt versions, optional folders, tags or notes, and your theme preference. Standard technical records may be processed by the services that host and protect Prmpter. If Replit-hosted analytics is enabled for the published site, it may also process limited pageview and custom-event measurements. These events do not include prompt text, search terms, email addresses, or other free-form user content.
Why we use it
We use this information to create and secure your account, provide the free library, save and sync your choices, maintain the service, prevent misuse, and respond to contact requests.
Lawful basis
Where UK or European data protection law applies, account and library data is processed to provide the service you request. Security, fraud prevention, reliability, and limited technical logging are processed for legitimate interests. Contact messages are processed to answer your request.
Essential sign-in cookies and local storage
Clerk uses essential cookies and related browser storage to keep you signed in and secure your session. Prmpter does not use advertising cookies or Google Analytics. If Replit-hosted analytics is enabled for the published site, it may process limited pageview and custom-event measurements; it is separate from the essential sign-in cookies described on the Cookies page. Local storage is not a cookie; it supports preferences, favorites, custom versions, and onboarding state.
What we do not sell
I do not sell your personal information, saved prompts, or customized prompt text.
Services that support Prmpter
Clerk provides authentication. Replit provides hosting, infrastructure, the app API, and—if enabled in Publishing settings—hosted analytics. If you choose Sign in with Google, Google processes that OAuth request under its own privacy terms and shares permitted account details with Clerk.
How long information is kept
Account and synced library information is kept while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide and protect the service. Browser-only information remains until you clear it.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, or receive a portable copy. Use the Contact page to make a request.
Children
Prmpter is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated when the service or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted here with a revised date.
